VR Haptic Glove

Lightweight glove: flex sensing + vibro feedback for convincing touch cues.

Overview

Haptic glove with flex-sensor finger tracking and tuned vibrotactile feedback for natural VR touch.

Flex sensors on thumb/index/middle drive coin vibromotors with an exponential curve for nuanced touch. Arduino maps bends to haptics; evolved from breadboard to a soldered, wearable harness.

Parts & Specs

Sensing: Flex sensors on each finger to capture bend and grasp pose
Feedback: Vibration motors driven with an exponential intensity curve to mimic touch/hold in VR
Control: Arduino microcontroller maps sensor input to haptics in real time
Build: Prototyped on a breadboard, then soldered into a compact harness for durability
